China’s container throughput increased 11.1% during January and August 2021

Chinese ports reached an overall 186.7 million TEU during January and August 2021, an 11.1% increase compared to 2020.

The Beibu Gulf Port’s container throughput grew by 19.7% to 3.63 million TEU but the Port of Dalian container throughput fell by 40.3% to 2.37 million TEU compared to 2020.

In August, the average freight rate from Ningbo Port to Los Angelis Port grew by 6.8%.
