Brazilian exports of wood-based products fell by 35% in May

In May, Brazilian exports of wood products, excluding pulp and fell by 35.0% to $329.2 million in value compared to May 2022.

In volume, tropical sawnwood exports fell by 34% to 29,000 m³ from May 2022 and in value, exports fell by 21.0% to $14.9 million in the same period.

Wooden furniture export value fell by 11% to $52.1 million.
