China calls for full tariff rollback to resolve U.S. trade war

China has demanded that the U.S. cancel all unilateral tariffs to ease ongoing trade tensions.

Despite U.S. claims of engagement, China stated that no official trade talks have taken place recently.

The Trump administration is considering reducing tariffs on Chinese imports from 145% to a range of 50–65%, depending on future discussions.

China hosted a roundtable with over 80 foreign companies and business groups to address how U.S. tariffs are affecting their operations and investments in China.
