China delays release of 3rd quarter economic stats indefinitely, indicating ill for the economy

- On 17 October, China declared to postpone the release of economic data indefinitely which was supposed to release economic data on the morning of October 18.
- China also delayed the release of September data for retail sales, fixed asset investment, and industrial production, among other categories.
