Egypt plans to deal with the repercussions of the global economic crisis

The President, Abdel Fattah El-Sisi met today with the Ministerial Economic Group in the presence of Dr. Mostafa Madbouly, Prime Minister, Mr. Tarek Amer, Governor of the Central Bank, Dr. Hala Al-Saeed, Minister of Planning and Economic Development, Dr. Rania Al-Mashat, Minister of International Cooperation, Dr. Mohamed Maait, Minister of Finance, and Mr. Hisham Tawfiq Minister of Public Business Sector, Ms. Nevin Gamea, Minister of Trade and Industry, and Major General Mohamed Amin, Advisor to the President of the Republic for Financial Affairs.
The meeting dealt with tracking the work of the Ministerial Economic Group, and strategies for dealing with the repercussions of the global economic crisis on Egypt.
In which the president mandated the exclusion of production needs and raw materials from the procedures that recently applied to the import process by returning to the old system through the collection of documents
And formulated the working group led by the Prime Minister, and the membership of each of the Governor of the Central Bank The Minister of Finance, the Minister of Trade and Industry, and other qualified authorities, to carry out regular follow-up and regular evaluation of the system of import procedures and the extent to which they meet the needs of the production process.
