Germany's construction material prices at highest in 73 years

• Prices are up 77.3% for solid construction lumber, up 65.1% for roof battens, and up 61.4% for construction lumber, compared to last year's average.
• The producer price index in Germany for industrial products grew by 10.5% on an annual average in 2021, compared to the previous year, and the annual inflation rate in Germany is anticipated to be 4.9% in 2022.
