UPM-Kymmene plants to face workers strike due to new labor agreement conflict

• The current collective agreement will end on Dec.31, and the UPM refused to sign that agreement with Finland's Pro-union trade, for which the Pro warns UPM of the strike.
• The Finnish paper workers union plans to begin a 3-week strike at UPM mills from January 1 until January 2022 in which 700 employees will take part adding to 2,200 from the paper workers union.
