U.S. saw a 0.5% decline in construction input prices in September but are 18.9% higher than 2020

- Construction input prices declined 0.5% in September but compared to September 2020 prices are 18.9% higher.
- Non-residential construction input prices also saw a decline of 0.4% but still, the prices remained 20.2% higher than September 2020
- Steel mill products hit the largest year-on-year increase of 134.2%, iron and steel prices doubled to 96.3%
