May saw a 0.9% increase in UK's home prices ahead of the slowdown

• In May, house prices grew by 0.9% month-on-month after an increase of 0.4% in April, which is a 10th consecutive month of gains but a slowdown is ahead due to the aggravated cost of living.
• House prices are 11.2% higher than May 2021 levels, falling short of April's 12.1% annual growth.
