October saw a decline of 3.0% in Swedish house prices, the worst since 1990

The price of single-family homes is rapidly falling compared to the price of apartments.
In October, the Sweden housing-price index fell by 3% from the previous month, the most vertical drop since June led by disconnected houses, which are vulnerable due to high electricity prices.
The Swedish central bank is getting ready to declare its next move to tackle soaring inflation which is expected to increase its policy rate by 75 basis points at a meeting on Nov. 23, after a full percentage-point hike in September.
