UK house prices fell by 0.4% in October, the fastest rate drop since early 2021

• In October, British house prices fell month-on-month by 0.4% at the fastest monthly rate since February 2021,  showing signs of a weaker housing market.
• In annual terms, house prices grew by 8.3%, slowing from 9.8% in September.
