UK property demand grew 20% in January

  • Buyer demand grew by 16% compared to January 2021, 24% in comparison to January 2020, and 41% compared to 2019 levels.

  • Average value landlords target increased by 9.9% in 4Q and 2.1% from the previous quarter, compared to a year ago, as the rise in rental values ​​increased the cost of buying homes in all but three areas.
  • The average age of a first-time buyer in 2021 was 32 who deposited a cost of £53,935 ($73,370) on a property worth £264,140.
