U.S. 30-year mortgage rate declines to 6.65% on March 27

The U.S. 30-year fixed mortgage rate dropped to 6.65% for the week ending March 27, down 2 basis points from 6.67%.
Compared to the same week last year, the 30-year rate declined by 14 basis points from 6.79%.
The 15-year fixed mortgage rate rose to 5.89%, up 6 basis points from 5.83% the previous week.
Despite the increase, the 15-year rate remains 22 basis points lower than last year's 6.11%.
