2023 saw a 40% rise in Belarusian sawn timber exports

Belarus saw a significant 40% increase in the export of its sawn timber in 2023.

During the same year, the country's domestic forestry sold more than 955,000 m³ of sawn timber products globally, showcasing a substantial 37.8% rise compared to the previous year.

The Forestry Ministry effectively shifted trade focus from Western European markets to friendlier countries, expanding the reach of Belarusian forestry products to nine different nations.
