Government changes Forest Code to prevent unauthorized timber shipments

• The Ministry of the Russian Federation proposes a new forest ban to be added to Article 23.1 of the forest code of the Russian Federation for illegal forest felling and timber shippings.
• The restriction will be on those who don’t have a legal basis for felling forest and timber transportation to supply machinery and equipment.
