July 2021 saw an increase of 19.4% in Building material prices and a decline of 29.0% in softwood lumber prices

• Softwood lumber prices declined 29.5%, showing the largest fall since April 1980, but remains 71.9% above January 2020 level.
• Goods prices for residential construction grew 0.2% in July.
