Ahlstrom finalizes sale of Aspa pulp mill to Sweden Timber

Ahlstrom sold its Aspa pulp mill in Sweden to Sweden Timber.

The sale includes the full mill and its operations, initially agreed on October 14, with financial terms undisclosed.

The Aspa mill makes bleached and unbleached softwood pulp, supplying various paper industry needs worldwide.

The mill has an annual production capacity of 200,000 tons and employs 174 people.

Sweden Timber, known for its wood, paper, and composite products, bought the mill to expand into pulp production.
