Belarus seeks alternate solutions to circumvent the ban on wood products and grow its domestic forestry market

Western countries applied sanctions on Belarus for its participation in Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, which is now slowly having a big impact on all Belarusian industries.
The export program needs to rebuild towards the domestic market which in turn required a big restructuring of the timber industry market due to losses in profitability and additional administrative costs.
