Canadian sawmills boost lumber production by 7.6% in October

Lumber production grew by 7.6% in October to 4,251.3 thousand m³, but fell by 5.2% compared to last year.

Sawmills shipped 4,441.5 thousand m³ of lumber in October, a 13.0% increase from September.

Lumber shipments rose by 1.6% compared to the same month last year.
