Canfor to continue the reduction of operating schedules at its Western Canadian sawmills due to global supply chain challenges

- In July and August, Canfor will also be implementing two weeks of rotating downtime in its primary sawmills to align production capacity with the sustainable timber supply and transportation availability.
- The capacity reductions will raise the impact of 275 million board feet by the end of August and the 100 million board feet reduction previously announced on March 30th.
- Global supply problems restricted Canfor's ability to transport products to customers, which increased the inventory levels.
