Credit issues in market due to curfew and bank deposit/withdrawal limit Currently market is facing high inventory level and high volume for normal market Importers are forced to sell at lower price to clear inventory Most large-scale construction projects and new cities rely on steel and plywood, not timber There is a push by government to finish pending projects such (affordable homes, new capital) however, suppliers’ payments are delayed Inner city, small scale or illegal market construction rely heavily on timber Private sector and inner-city construction halted for 6 months by government Will affect schaalboard and fillery consumption and demand
