Finland's timber trade grew by 47% in January-April

In January-April 2023, timber trade grew by 47% from 2022, and 16% from the average for the last 5 years. 

The log trade grew by 20% and the pulpwood trade by 12% compared to the last 5 years.

In April, industrial roundwood imports from the private forests reached 3.6 million m³, an increase of 32% from the average for the previous 5 years.
