Fire erupted at Stora Enso's sawmill in Gävle, Sweden

Stora Enso's sawmill, Ala engulfed in flames which raised a thick and dark pillar of smoke, in Ljusne, north of Gävle.

There are a total of 9 rescue units for assistance, and residents are instructed to go indoors and close their doors.

The sawmill produces sawn timber, processed wood, and pellets from logs of pine and spruce.
