March saw a gradual increase in the CFR sale price for radiata pine logs in China as productivity in China ramped up. In the first week of March the CFR sale price for A grade radiata in China was in the low 100-104 USD per JASm3. In later weeks of March, sales were at the USD 105-109 Daily port off-take was in the range of 35-50,000 Log wholesalers were seen holding volume to take advantage of higher prices The supply of spruce from Europe has ceased due to the lack of containers.
