Metsä Wood selects SRV for construction of Kerto LVL mill in Äänekoski

Metsä Wood and SRV signed an agreement for a new Kerto LVL mill in Äänekoski, Finland.

SRV to be the main contractor for the cooperative project management contract.

Preparatory work at the mill site progresses as planned.

The construction phase is estimated to create around 1,000 person-years of employment impact.

The mill will employ about 150 people directly and support 200 in its value chain, with production starting in H2 2026, increasing Kerto LVL's capacity by 50%.
