Northern sea ports exported over 800,000 m³ of timber

- In January-February 2022, 836.2 thousand m³ of forest products were sent from the region to international markets, which include commercial timber and sawn timber that accounted for 572.6 thousand m³, for chips and sawdust more than 263 thousand m³.
- Non-CIS countries became the key importers of timber products which include Egypt, Israel, China, the Netherlands, Great Britain, India, South Korea, Germany, Finland, Estonia, Japan, and Turkey, and among the CIS importing countries, the Republic of Belarus has become an important destination.
