Pfeifer Group to expand Germany’s Uelzen mill

  • An Austrian-based wood processing company, Pfeifer Group manufactures timber products, aiming for development and modernization programs at eight of their northernmost locations, which are scheduled to be completed in 2024.
  • The expansion begins in 2022 with the construction of a waste wood recycling plant to diversify the raw material base in addition to the fresh chips from its own sawmill, modernizing and expanding capacity in pallet block production to 350,000 m3 per year.
