Russian government amends export custom duties for goods exported from outside the Russian Federation

• The amended rate would be applicable for non-dried lumber exports.
• For spruce, pine, coniferous, and fir sawnwood with a moisture content of +22%, the customs duty is increased by 13 euros ($15.72) per cubic meter.
• For oak sawnwood with +22% moisture, the customs duty is increased by 15 ($18.14) euros per cubic meter.
• For beech and ash sawnwood with a moisture content of +22%, the export customs duty is increased by 50 euros ($60.47) per cubic meter.
• The changes would come into force on July 1, 2021, and are valid until December 31, 2021.
