- Saskatchewan’s forestry products sales grew by 60% to $1.8 billion in 2021.
- In 2021, the government of Saskatchewan allocated $1 billion in capital investments which created over 2,600 new jobs.
- The projects include constructing an OSB mill in Prince Albert, the expansion of Dunkley Lumber’s Carrot River sawmill, upgrades at the Big River sawmill, and the reopening of the Prince Albert pulp mill.
