Norra Timber has invested heavily in new technology at its Kåge sawmill, including a 300-meter-long log sorting facility now in operation and a CT scanner currently being tested.
Kåge Sawmill is a modern facility that continuously enhances its operational efficiency, specializing in high-quality spruce and pine products.
Recent upgrades allow the sawmill to scan all logs and fully utilize the raw forest material.
The grading mill intake at Kåge Sawmill has been revamped, boosting capacity by up to 10%.
The newly installed CT scanner at Kåge Sawmill offers detailed reconstructions of each log's internal features, improving operational accuracy.
