The World Wildlife Fund (WWF) reported illegal logging with damage of over 90 million rubles ($ 1.8 million) in North Ossetia

- The WWF reported on illegal logging, specified in the republics of North Ossetia and Karachay-Cherkessia, as well as the Krasnodar Territory of the country over the past six months.
- The total area of found illegal logging in North Ossetia is 500 m³, and the amount of damage caused by black loggers is 88 million rubles($ 1 million).
- A criminal case was initiated under Part 3 of Art. 260 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation.
