Timber construction market set to expand with TDUK and STA agreement

Timber Development UK (TDUK) and the Structural Timber Association (STA) have formalized a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to advance the timber construction sector's growth and development.

The MOU establishes a collaborative partnership focused on enhancing timber design and construction through joint technical projects.

TDUK and STA are already known for providing technical and design guidance to professionals like architects, engineers, and manufacturers.

This partnership aims to create a unified voice across the timber supply chain segments—downstream, manufacturing, and design—when interacting with policymakers.

The coordinated approach is part of a shared advocacy plan under the Confederation of Timber Industries (CTI).
