UK's James Jones and Sons obtained Australia's Mayflower Enterprises

• UK-based sawmilling group James Jones and Sons Ltd acquired 60% of the shares in Mayflower Enterprises Pty Ltd in Australia, the holding company of Hyne Timber and XLam.
• Hyne Timber operates 2 modern sawmills (Tuan, Queensland and Tumbarumba, NSW) producing circa 800,000m3 of sawn timber, employing 750 staff, with a 21% market share in Australia.
