Versowood Group inks an agreement to purchase the Kissakoski sawmill

• Versowood Group, Finland’s largest private sawmill and processor declared an agreement to purchase the business, equipment, and buildings of the Kissakoski sawmill, the transaction will be concluded by July 2022.
• The Kissakoski sawmill employs 20 employees and processes small logs 8 to 16 cm in diameter with an annual production of 120,000 m3.
• Versowood Group aims for the Kissakoski sawmill to continue to process small logs, which will increase the efficiency of the company’s other sawmills in Otava, Vierumäki, and Hankasalmi.
