2 more railroad unions reached a tentative labor agreement with US freight railroads

- The 2 unions contain 6,000 freight rail employees and are the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW) and the American Train Dispatchers Association (ATDA).
- Both union's labor agreements are based on the recommendations from the Presidential Emergency Board (PEB), a 3-person independent committee established by President Biden.
- Earlier, 3 other unions with over 21,000 employees, reached a tentative agreement with the US freight railroads, thus, in total, 5 out of the 12 US freight railroad unions have reached a tentative agreement with 15% of the over 140,000 employees at the bargaining table.
