BC Dockworkers Unite- New labor agreement ends turmoil, ensures stability

Members of the International Longshore and Warehouse Union Canada (ILCW) accepted a tentative agreement with the BC Maritime Employers Association (BCMEA), ending 5+ weeks of turmoil on BC docks.

ILCW President Rob Ashton reported 74.66% member approval for the new pact.

BCMEA ratifies a 4-year deal, featuring wage, benefits, and training increases, recognizing the skills of BC's wata erfront workforce.
