China's export container shipping price index dips in September

The China Containerized Freight Index (CCFI) registered an average of 876.46 last month, indicating a slight 0.5% drop from the previous month.
Throughout September, most of the 12 shipping routes saw monthly increases in their sub-readings. Notably, the Australia/New Zealand route saw a substantial rise of 15.4%.
Conversely, the Mediterranean route experienced the most significant monthly decline, down by 5.7%.
The CCFI serves as a valuable tool for monitoring shipping costs from Chinese ports along 12 global routes, utilizing data provided by 22 international carriers.
