China's logistics activities slowed in April

In April, China’s logistics industry developed slowly but the outlook is optimistic as economic recovery and holiday consumption are expected to increase logistics activities.

The index reached 53.8% which tracks the country’s logistics market performance.

Big and medium-sized logistics companies' demand stabilized last month, while small and micro companies in the sector saw a drop in demand.

The sub-index for new orders reached 52.3%, a drop of 1.4% points month on month.
