CMA CGM adapts low water surcharge for cargo shipping to/from Manaus, Brazil

The choice to revise the Low Water Surcharge (LWS) is a response to ongoing navigation challenges on the Amazon River.

CMA CGM will enforce the updated LWS of $1,100 per TEU beginning on September 25.

For shipments destined for the US, US territories, Colombia, Paraguay, Uruguay, Panama, Venezuela, Argentina, and Ecuador, the LWS will be $750 per TEU effective from October 5, and then rise to $1,100 on October 25.
