CMA CGM announces Rate Restoration Initiative (RRI) launching December 1st

CMA CGM plans to launch a Rate Restoration Initiative (RRI) on December 1, 2024, for shipments from South America’s West Coast and Central America’s East Coast to St. John, Canada.

This initiative will affect all types of cargo, with a rate increase of $100 per container.

The company will also implement the RRI for shipments from South America's West Coast to the US East Coast and Gulf regions.

For these shipments to the US, the rate adjustment will be set at $250 per container.
