Container dwell times at the Port of Felixstowe recovered to pre-strike levels ahead of the next industrial action

- The ocean shipments at the port were at an average of 5.3 days when the strike started which soared to 9.9 days on average on 30 August.
- Arrivals at Felixstowe declined during the 2-week strike, from 20% of UK arrivals to 0%, while Southampton arrivals grew by 24% in the same period.
- Containers spent on average slightly more time in big European ports including Rotterdam, Bremerhaven, Hamburg, and Antwerp during Felixstowe's recovery period.
