DP World plans to invest $50 million in constructing a new logistics center in Busan New Port.

This initiative aims to strengthen Busan's role as a vital logistics hub for Northeast Asia and enhance the global reputation of the Busan-Jinhae Free Economic Zone (BJFEZ).

Construction of the facility, covering 75,000 square meters of land, is scheduled to begin by the end of 2024.

Operations at the DP World Busan Logistics Centre (BLC) are expected to commence in the second quarter of 2026.

The BLC is anticipated to handle nearly 80,000 TEU of cargo annually by 2028 and will provide various services such as assembly, processing, and packaging to local and regional clients.
