Hapag-Lloyd has announced a $500 General Rate Increase (GRI) per container, starting on October 1, 2024.
The GRI will apply to all dry and refrigerated containers shipped from the East Coast of South America (Brazil, Argentina, Uruguay, and Paraguay) to the West Coast (Chile, Peru, Bolivia, Ecuador, and Buenaventura in Colombia).
This rate increase will stay in effect until further notice.
