Maersk finalizes agreement for 6-day Suez Canal blockage

The closure of the Suez Canal resulted in delays and supply chain concerns for various global firms.

In February 2023, Maersk initiated a lawsuit, seeking compensation of over $40 million for the delays caused by the event.

The case reached an out-of-court settlement on November 30, 2023, and Maersk opted not to disclose the terms of the settlement or reveal the names of the companies or individuals it had sued.
