Suez canal opens 10 km extension to boost daily ships transits

Egypt has launched a 10 km (6.2 mile) extension of the Suez Canal.

The new section allows 6 to 8 additional ships to pass through the canal each day.

This expansion improves Egypt's vital infrastructure.

The upgrade enhances the Suez Canal’s position in international trade.
