Suez Canal's earnings soar to $854 million in November

Setting a historic milestone, the Suez Canal achieved its highest-ever monthly revenue, reaching $854.7 million in November, showcasing a remarkable 20.3% annual growth.

In November, the number of vessels transiting the canal increased by 4.3% to 2,264, setting a new monthly record for net tonnage at 135.5 million tons, marking an 8.2% YoY increase.

Noteworthy is the fact that the Suez Canal recorded its highest annual revenues in FY 2022/2023, totaling an impressive $9.4 billion.

The month of November witnessed exceptional financial success for the canal, breaking records both in monthly revenue and vessel traffic.
