US-Asia imports declined amid global container recovery in March

In March, global container demand recovered across the majority of trade routes, besides US imports from Asia.

US imports from Asia are consistently declining at an unsteady rate of 20% year-on-year.

Retailers and wholesalers are seeing an increasing trend while manufacturers' inventory has stagnated, indicating inventories are growing compared to sales, and any continuous inventory correction is insufficient.
