August saw a 12.6% increase in log prices in the U.S.

  • In August 2021, the average price of logs in the U.S. increased by 12.6% to $201.1 per cubic meter.
  • The exports of logs grew by 19.3% year-on-year to 861.2 thousand cubic meters and the value of exports also increased by 34.4% to $173.2 million.
