Canfor decides to invest USD 160 million to build a new sawmill in Louisiana

• The facility will have a yearly production capacity of 250 million board feet 
• Louisiana facility is expected to provide manufacturing capacity and flexibility to produce a range of high-value wood products
• The overall investment is almost $300 million in 2021, which includes $200 million for the solid wood and pulp operations and $100 million for the solid wood in the US
• The start-up is expected to start in the Q3 of 2021.
