August saw a 2.0% decline in Existing housing sales in Washington

• The single-family homes, townhomes, condominiums, and co-ops completed sales decreased by 2.0% to a 5.88 million rate in August from July and yearlong sales are down by 1.5%
• In August 2021, the median existing-home price for all housing types increased by 14.9% to $356,700, from $310,400 in August 2020
